Photographer dianne pursch has had a camera in her hand since she was 9 years old. That first camera and her early beloved photo topics led dianne to a lifetime of capturing warm, heartfelt images through her photography. “I wore out Coco, the family dog, by making her pose over and over again for my pictures", says dianne. In junior high, she took photos of school sporting events for the high school yearbook and newspaper, and in high school, she won numerous awards for her photography. "I never envisioned a career for myself as a photographer", says dianne. "I studied math and geology at Texas A&M University and began teaching. Then school officials asked me to help with the yearbook."

"Suddenly my creative imagery skills were reawakened and the possibility of becoming a professional photographer became obvious. I was hired by the school's portrait company and could no longer hide my true calling. I started my photography company in 1996, specializing in photographing children."

"My goal is to create beautiful images while providing a warm, friendly environment for the subjects of my portraits, whether my subject is in a school, on a little league team, a family, bride and groom or an individual person. A portrait session should be fun."

Since most people are more comfortable in their own environment, dianne mainly photographs "on location" but she can also arrange a session in a studio or at many outdoor locations around Cedar Park and Austin.
